Booking & payment
How do I book?
Pick your start date, rental length, number of bikes and a delivery window online, then add rider names and your delivery address. You'll see the start time, end time and full price before you confirm. Prefer to talk it through? Call or text 910-208-0001.
How long is a 24-hour or 3-day rental?
Your rental starts at the beginning of your delivery window. A 24-hour rental lasts exactly 24 hours. 3-day and 6-day rentals end at the same time of day, three or six days later. You'll see the exact start and end times before you book.
Do I pay when I book?
The booking page shows exactly how payment works before you confirm, and your confirmation email repeats it. We calculate the price at checkout, so the total you see before confirming is the total you agree to.
Is there a group discount?
Yes. Book 4 or more bikes on one reservation and you get 10% off the rental charges. Discounts don't combine, so if you also have a promo code we apply whichever saves you more.
How far ahead should I book?
Bikes and delivery windows are limited, so booking early is the safest bet for busy weeks. The calendar shows what's open, and if the day you want is full we'll suggest nearby dates.
Can I book by phone?
Yes. Call or text 910-208-0001 and we'll set it up with you.
I can't find my confirmation email. How do I get back to my booking?
Use Find my booking with your booking reference and email address, and we'll email you a fresh secure link to view or manage it.
Delivery & pickup
How do delivery and pickup work?
We bring the bikes to your address during the delivery window you choose, then come back for them during your pickup window when the rental ends. Delivery and pickup are free in Oak Island, Southport, Caswell Beach, Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach.
Do you deliver outside those five towns?
Online booking covers the five towns we serve. If you're staying somewhere else nearby, call or text us and we'll let you know.
Does someone need to be there at delivery?
Please plan on it. We bring the rental agreement and waiver to sign, and we adjust each bike to fit its rider, so it helps to have your riders there.
The bikes
What comes with each bike?
A helmet, a charger and a lock. We also fit each bike to its rider when we drop it off.
What bike will I get?
Our fleet is the fat-tire step-through e-bike: 26-inch fat tires, a 750-watt motor, a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes. The low step-through frame makes it easy to get on and off.
Will the bike fit me?
The bikes suit riders from about 5′1″ to 6′3″. Add rider heights when you book and we'll set each bike up at delivery.
Are the bikes maintained between rentals?
Yes. Every bike is serviced between rentals before it goes back out.
How do I charge the bike?
Each bike comes with its own charger. The battery is built into the frame and can be removed for charging.
Riding & safety
Can I ride on the beach?
Not on Oak Island. Town of Oak Island Ordinance 28-5 prohibits electric assist bicycles on public beach areas at all times. Rules are different in each town, so check the local rules before riding anywhere other than roads and paths.
Is there a minimum age?
Our rental terms set a minimum rider age of 16.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Every bike comes with a helmet, and we ask every rider to wear it. North Carolina law requires riders under 16 to wear one on public roads and paths.
Changes & policies
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel at least 14 days before your rental starts for a full refund. Cancellations inside 14 days are not refunded, though we may offer a credit toward a future rental when bikes are available.
Can I change my dates?
Yes, when bikes are available for the new dates. Use the secure link in your confirmation email or get in touch. Changing a delivery or pickup time after booking may carry a $50 fee.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Yes. We bring the rental agreement and waiver with the bikes, and it's signed at delivery before anyone rides.
